Yes. We measure the failed gear — or the mating parts and housing when the gear is destroyed — and manufacture a replacement. It is one of the most common jobs in this shop.
Do you rebuild gearboxes from outside the area?
Yes — industrial gearboxes are shipped to us from across Southern California and beyond for rebuilding and manufacturing work.
What does a gearbox rebuild include?
Teardown, documented inspection, renewal of bearings and seals, gear and shaft repair or manufacture, housing restoration as needed, correct assembly setup, and testing.
How is price determined?
After inspection, in a written quote that follows the documented findings. The inspection and quote are free.
