Privacy Policy

LA Trucks and Tractors ("we," "us," "our") operates the LTAT Office mobile and web app (the "app"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

How the app stores your data

On-device first. Invoices, quotes, agreements, customers, inventory, scans, photos, and settings are stored on your own device.
Encrypted cloud backup (optional). If you turn on cloud backup, your data is encrypted on your device with AES-256 (your passphrase) before it is uploaded. Our servers store only ciphertext they cannot read. You can export an encrypted backup file at any time and delete cloud backups from Settings.

Information we collect

Account information: name, business name, and email address so you can sign in. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes — we cannot read them.
Business records you create: invoices, quotes, agreements, customer records, inventory, and documents you enter. These live on your device (and in your encrypted backup, if enabled).
Fax transmissions: sent through your own HumbleFax account per HumbleFax's own privacy policy. We do not keep copies on our servers.
Payment handles you enter (Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay, bank details) are stored on your device only, so they can appear on your invoices.
Subscriptions: card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) under its own privacy policy — card numbers never touch our servers or the app.

We do not run ads, sell personal information, share data with advertisers or data brokers, or track your location.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the service: encrypted-backup hosting (Cloudflare), fax delivery (HumbleFax, only the faxes you send), payment processing (Stripe). We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

Your business records stay on your device until you delete them. Encrypted cloud backups keep the last 10 versions for 90 days. Account information is kept while your account is active; ask us to delete your account and we will delete it and your cloud backups.

Security

We encrypt cloud backups client-side with AES-256 and use TLS for all network traffic. Choose a strong, unique passphrase for backup encryption and do not share it — without it, not even we can recover your backup.

Your choices and rights

Turn cloud backup on or off anytime in Settings; export or delete your data anytime.
Ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it: (800) 821-3404 or [email protected].
California residents: under California law you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information.

Children's privacy

The app is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
